The Goodyear Recreational Campus: Something for Everyone!
Much more than just a park or a place to exercise, the Goodyear Recreational Campus is a thriving community hub created for all ages looking for fun, fitness, relaxation, or outdoor adventure. The 86-acre campus offers something for everyone, with state of the art amenities, events, activities and classes for teens, seniors, families, and more! Doors for the $65-million project were officially opened in 2021, and ever since, the campus has helped to create a growing community of both locals and visitors alike.
So, what’s so great about this place? Here’s the kind of fun you’ll find there:
Goodyear Recreation center
All-in-One Recreation Center
The recreation center itself features a multipurpose gym with over 9,000 square feet of playable space, an elevated walking track where you can enjoy views of both the Estrella and White Tank mountains, pristine fitness studios, a fitness floor that offers a first-class experience for all abilities, and much more. Group classes including yoga, pilates, zumba, bootcamp, barre, and others are available for all fitness levels. There’s also a lounge area with Wi-Fi, a teen activity center with staff mentors, gaming equipment, and e-sports streams, and an outdoor patio where visitors can gather.
Family-Friendly Aquatic Center
The Aquatic Center offers a 25-yard lap pool, a leisure pool, lazy river, and an eight-lane competition pool with diving boards. Kids will love the zero-depth entry play pool with play structure and two 27-foot water slides. Reserve a pool cabana during swim hours, or opt for an after-hours reservation of the entire pool area. And for those who just want to kick back, there’s lots of shaded seating around the deck. Important note: The center is open only to Goodyear residents and their guests.
Multi-Functional Community Park
Designed with all ages and abilities in mind, the 30-acre community park is a great spot to gather with family and friends. Playgrounds feature unique, multi-level play structures, inverted slides, and a dedicated space for safe play for younger kids.There’s plenty to experience with sensory panels, musical components, spinning amenities, and a zipline. All ages can enjoy a 1-mile continuous walking path, two lighted softball fields and multipurpose fields, and lighted courts for sand volleyball, pickleball, tennis, and basketball. Gather around outdoor grills surrounded by covered seating, or in private group ramadas or picnic areas. There is even an interactive public art gathering space to express and enjoy creativity.
Year-Round Programs and Events
The Goodyear Recreation Campus is home to a variety of adaptive programs, youth and adult enrichment classes, arts and culture education, and youth sports. Events like art and music festivals and seasonal celebrations happen all year long.

Choose an annual, semi-annual, monthly, or day pass–or choose the punch pass if you’ll be using the facility sporadically.
